Thank you very much for your letter 4th September. I've been very busy in the last fifteen days, and now I answer your letter.

I strongly support Wei Jingsheng for the Nobel Peace Prize. I' ve been doing some research about him and I am very sympathethic with his profound thought and discernment, and above all, with his pacifist ideas and his struggle for human rights and democracy in China. This is not an ideological matter, between capitalism and communism, but it is between a political matter between democracy and dictatorship.

I am also willing to help you getting more support from parlamentarians and academic figures of my country, and I contacted the Buenos Aires Herald, a newspaper which is strongly concerned with human rights and democracy, for articles and reviews of Wei's political struggle. I hope all this will help in any way.
