MOSCOW. (E-C) A "hunger strike of dialogue" for the liberation of the Tibetan Panchen-Lama and the Chinese prisoner of conscience Wei Jingsheng was discussed at a press-conference on 2 October at the Russian-American Information Press Centre. The hunger strike is the culmination of the international initiative for the liberation of two political prisoners: Geduna Choki Nima - the seven year old boy, recognised as the reincarnation of the Panchen-Lama, the second authority in the spiritual hierarchy of Tibetan Buddhism - and the Chinese dissident Wei Jingsheng, who has already served a 14 year term and was rearrested in 1995.
