Your tireless efforts are an inspiration. Thank you for all you are doing.
I have a couple of questions
1. You placed a description of an article in a French newspaper about Eastern Turkestan and the Uighur people, how might I get a copy of the article in English (or failing that in French, ask my daughter to translate)? I would like to put on the CACCP Free Eastern Turkestan web-page.
2. We at Citizens Against Communist Chinese Propaganda will be protesting at the Splendid China theme park in Kissimme on 3/09/97 (for Tibetan Uprising day). We have photos of our protests at the park (although we are small in number, we try to make up for with enthusiasm). Dan Haig and myself were trying to get together an effort to advertise on the web the upcoming protests and activities on 3/10/97. We just had some pictures from 3/10/96 in Dharamsala scanned and thought that these might form the basis of a visual representation that the media didn't cover, but we can.
How can we get organized now to help ?
May peace and happiness rain upon you and those you hold dear,
Jack
PRESS RELEASE
* Chine: huit Ouighours executes" in the Dec 6th issue of Liberation (France). A rare and important note on the repression in eastern Turkistan (the Chinese province of Xinjiang) on behalf of the Chinese authorities against the Uiguri people, the dominant ethnic group of Muslims in eastern Turkistan. It is a land rich with oil and precious minerals that is used by the Chinese for nuclear experiments as a result of the sadly famous polygon of Lop Nor.
