(Kaluga, March 25) - The public assembly of ARA has taken place in Kaluga City Public Center with participation of Nikolaj Khramov, secretary of ARA, Tatjana Kotljar, member of ARA General Council, and Konstantin Petuhov, the first conscientious objector in Kaluga and Radical member. There were about 40 people gathered for Radical meeting. The main subject of the discussion was the campaign for immediate setting up the democratic and non-discriminatory law on alternative civilian service, conducted in Russia by ARA and Transnational Radical Party. 4 persons joined ARA for 1997. More than 100 postcards for passing the conscientious objection law have been distributed.
