General Assembly Resolution-5
RESOLUTION ON THE STRUGGLE OF THE NAGA PEOPLE IN THEIR RESISTANCE AGAINST INVASION
The General assembly,
RECOGNISING the historical sovereignty of the Naga people over their territory, the right of the Naga people to determine their own government, and the illegality of the invasion and continued occupation of Nagaland by the Indian and Myanmar armed forces;

Therefore,
1. STRONGLY CONDEMNS the Indian and Myanmar governments and their militaries for their invasion and continued occupation of Nagaland, for their rampant violations of human rights of the Naga people.
2. CALLS on India and Myanmar to stop employing military action, and to begin peaceful political negotiations.
3. DEMANDS that India and Myanmar allow international observers, the international human rights community, and the media to investigate the situation in Nagaland.
4. AGREES to send a fact-finding human rights mission to Nagaland at the earliest time possible.
