Subject: EP resolution on Southern(Inner) Mongolia

Dear Mister Dupuis,

I received information from Mr. Tsengelt Gonchigsuren that the European Parliament has adopted the resolution on Inner Mongolia. Let me convey to you my personal congratulations on this important victory, and also to express thanks to you and the European People Group, the Liberal group, the Green group and the Union for Europe Group for having worked together and made this possible.

China's ultra-nationalist and belligerent policies in Tibet and Eastern Turkistan (Sinjiang) have made much more headway in Southern (Inner) Mongolia than in Tibet or Sinjiang. This is due to China's successful suppression of public information surrounding the Mongolian case, as well as the government's extremely inhumane measures in denying the human rights of the Mongols. Your resolution has gone one step furthering in exposing the Chinese government's policies for what it really is, and made it that much harder for the Chinese government to ignore the human rights of its citizens. With your help, our battle is made easier.

Again thank you for all you have done for the Mongols.
