On the 17-th October of this year representatives of His Holyness Dalay-lama Mr. N. Gelec and Mr. Tashy visited Minsk. Their visit was prepared by the Byelorussian Tibet support Group. During the visit Mr. Gelec and Mr. Tashy had fruitful discussion with the executive director of the Byelorussian Association of Independent Journalists Mr. I. Rymkewich, with the Chairmen of the 13-th Supreme Soviet of Belarus Mr. S. Sharetsky.

The Tibetian visitors took also part at the Tibetian - Byelorussian round table on ecological problems of modern times.
