The government of India and the National Socialist Council of Nagaland have mutually decided to announce further extension of the current cease-fire for a period of three (3) months with effect from the 1st May, 1998. Both sides agreed that with the extension of the current cease-fire political discussions should start. The agreed ground shall be strictly implemented during the cease-fire period.
