In this year' Subcommission on Minorities in Geneva, Kosova issue is leading on the agenda - these are some of the main titles of the dailies in Albanian language.

"The representative of the Transnational Radical Party," writes KIC (Kosova Information Center), "Olga Cechurova, asks in her statement that Mr. Milosevic be put under investigation by the Tribunal for former Yugoslavia for war crimes." KIC also writes that the representative of the TRP in Geneva, after using the facts for these steps, stresses that the international community has to react, and that decisive steps to implement the numerous declarations into the practice are urgent.

The Albanian state television, TVSH, reported about this initiative to put Milosevic under the investigation by the Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, "is decisive step" for the peace in Balkans. The TVSH after the statement of Olga Cechurova in Geneva explains that Serb paramilitary forces are stopping the humanitarian aid workers who are trying to give the necessary aid to the Albanian civilians that have fled the area of the conflict. This is the same scenario from the Bosnia, concludes the TVSH, ethnic cleansing, meantime that international community is still hesitating to act properly.

According to the KIC, the Kosova news agency, in this year Subcommission on Minorities, the TRP is asking more decisive steps from the NATO and other international bodies to ensure the withdrawal of the special Serbian forces from Kosova, release the political detainees, and respect fully all human rights and fundamental freedoms in Kosova.

At the end of long press release, among others, the main media in Albanian writes that the TRP in Geneva concludes that, despite several meetings of contact group, arms embargo against FRY (whose efficiency is questionable due to the existing huge military equipment of FRY) presence of the NATO in the region, United Nations Security Council's resolutions (whose real implementation is blocked by the approach of Russian Federation), no sufficiently decisive steps were taken by international community to let Mr.Milosevic understand that the world will do anything effective to deter further violence.
