Washington, DC--Wednesday September 09, 1998 thousands of Albanian Americans from across the nation are meeting in our nation's capital to voice their concerns over the plight of Albanians in Kosova. This past month, unfortunately, has been the worse for the Kosovar Albanians in which Belgrade has waged its brutal attacks upon the defenseless Albanians, killing more than hundreds of people, including women and children, wounding countless others and rendering over 350,000 homeless.
Two US administrations have directly stated that they will not tolerate an open conflict in Kosova. The US Congress has also spoken clearly on Kosova.
The conflict in Kosova must end now or the world will be further witness to the open disregard and destruction of human life at the hands of Milosevic.
