Subject: A demand for the release of Mr. Ukshin Hoti - a political prisoner from the jail of Nish in Serbia
Dear Sirs,
Sending you my most sincere and friendly regards, I inform you that I come from a small country with great people and an ancient tradition, through which many foreigners have passed. What they left behind, it was poverty and suffering. Though, even poorer than we used to be, we still generously offered bread and salt from the heart even to those who killed us. We hope that you will be more then just witnesses of our tragedy. In a contrary, you will look small in the eyes of our people, and in the eyes of this world proclaimed as humane. Massive killings, repression, abuses, arrests, massive immigrations of the Albanian population from their ethnic territories under the use of force by the Serbian invader, continueàIn this democratic scale, many demons raise their heads and as dragons swallow the greatest wits of our nation. They "reward" the wisest and the most democratic people, by throwing them in jail, only because they do not recognize malicious desires and epithets of the demon-crat-s. He languishes in
the beat of demonian drum, an Albanian Socrates languishes and suffers only because he says the truth.
You are the only ones able to tear that "old fur" up. Only you can paralyze and cancel that "scab". If you really are humane and truly democrats, you will engage yourself in this matter for the release of Mr. Ukshin Hoti who is sacrificing himself for the Liberation of His People from slavery imposed on by secular injustice of Europe and the world.
That is why I am making my appeal to you as Parliament of high credibility in the world, to intervene for and to engage yourself in this matter. Mr. Ukshin Hoti is being kept in the confinement in the jail of Nish. He was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment and has got 11 months left to his release.
In this context I inform you with the address of the jail:
Mr. Ukshin Hoti, mat. br. 364 Kazneno - Popravni Dom 18000 Nish
With respect,
Skender Q. Hoti
