THE MAYOR OF MOSCOW YURI LUZHKOV SPEAKS OUT FOR JOINING YUGOSLAVIA THE UNION OF BELORUSSIA AND RUSSIA
(November 6, 1998, NNS) -- Receiving the leader of Serbian Radical Party Mr. Vojislav Sheshelj, he underlined, that joining the Union, Yugoslavia will receive "much more powerful protection, including political one." And that any action against Yugoslavia "will be automatically directed" both against Russia and Belorussia.
"Even taking in consideration all our economic difficulties, everyone knows, that Russia has considerable power, including the military one", - Luzhkov declared. "By this way Yugoslavia could much more successfully withstand to the military threat of NATO," - he stressed.
According to the mayor of Moscow, the military intervention of NATO in Yugoslavia can cause the World War III.
