THE COUNTDOWN BEGAN

On February 26 is expired the term established by the Council of Europe for Russia to ratify the 6th Facultative Protocol to the European Convention on Human Rights and Basic Freedom concerning abolition of death penalty. Down to this day Transnational Radical Party will remind to State Duma members of the choice, which they should make: either to abolish death penalty, or to put under a question membership of Russia in Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe. The Radical posters with question "Death Penalty or Council of Europe?" will meet deputies at the entrance of the State Duma each Wednesday and Friday - days of plenary sessions of parliament.
