DAILY INFORMATION NR.1
Radio "Kosova e lir " (Free Kosova) informed that:
- Yesterday, at about 9 AM, in the location "Ura e Seqisht s" (The
bridge of Seqishta) of the village Seqishta, 12 Serbian solders stopped
a car for bread transportation and they have kidnapped the driver. The
Serbian solders sent him toward the border with Macedonia and afterwards
shootings were heard.
- A Serbian convoy consisted of 7 tanks, 3 pragas, 7 armored vehicles
and a large number of Serbian troops went in the village P r eva of
Klina. They got situated in front of U K positions, in a distance of 150
meters.
- In the Hill of Tikvesh, above the town Klina the Serbian forces have
situated air-defense equipment.
- The Serbian police in the town Gjilan have mobilized a large number of
Romas and Serbian civilians. Our sources inform of large movements of
these police forces.
- On February 20, the Serbian police shot on the barmen of the caffe
"Renesansa" in Gjakova. Fortunately he wasn't wounded, but there were
some material damages.
- Yesterday, the Serbian forces from their position points, shelled and
shot toward the villages Godishnjak and Majac, the municipality of
Podujeva.
- 3 buses and 2 trucks, full with Serbian policemen went toward the town
of Podujeva, while one other convoy went toward the Serbian military
base in the location "G rmia" in Prishtina.

Ka anik
Last night near Hani i Elezit got situated over 100 soldiers of Serbian
occupier. They have entered violently in the caf of Ragip Salihu and
since then they are staying there. Around this place some other forces
are building their military camps, so it seems that they are getting
prepared for a longer stay in this area.
Gjakov
In the ward "Qerimi", in Mazllum Gazi street, in the town of Gjakova,
the day before yesterday was killed from Serbian police Arben (Avdyl)
Saliuku (25). Arben Saliuku was for five months in prison, starting from
the August of last year, due to his activities within the U K units.

Council for the Defense of Human Rights and Freedoms - CDHRF informed
that:
According to the information from the Sub-council of Vushtrria, at 9:00
AM, a combined attack of Serbian forces started against some villages of
the municipality of Vushtrria. The villages Dolak, Shtitaric ,
Okrashtic and Pantin are being shelled. Except the Serbian police and
Serbian paramilitary forces, the Serbian Army is very actively
participating in the attack. In the villages Bukosh and Novolan, large
number of Serbian forces and military equipment, are being concentrated.
The civil population is leaving these villages and from the town of
Vushtrria itself. Large number of Serbian police forces blocked the road
near Ura e Gurit and they are not allowing the movement of the civil
population in this direction. Until now there are no information for any
possible victim of this attack, only for material damages.
According to the information from the Sub-council of Hani i Elezit, last
night around 8:15 PM, in front of his own house, Gafurr Xhafer Loku and
his son Driton, were killed. Gafur Loku was the vice-president of the
SCDHRF of Hani i Elezit. According to the eye-witnesses, they were
killed from unknown persons which got out of two cars.
Also according to the Sub-Council of CDHRF in Hani i Elezit, we are
informed that Serbian military forces are mining the bridge in Gryka e
Ka anikut (the Canyon of Ka anik). This is happening squarely in front
of the people who live in the area. The pretext for this is unknown.
In the village Kolovic , the municipality of Prishtina, from February
20, Serbian police forces are patrolling along the village and
ill-treating the inhabitants of this village. The police are patrolling
also during the night and the villagers are afraid from a possible
attack.
In the Prishtina's ward Tauk Bahqe, in an army depot large number of
Serbian military forces equipped with heavy artillery are concentrated.
There are movements of Serbian forces also in other parts of Prishtina
and mobilization of young Serbs, wearing police uniforms and guns, is
noticed.

>From our sources from the field we were informed today that today also
were fightings going on in the district of Llap (municipality of
Podujeva) between U K forces and the Serbian forces. Before the conflict
started a huge convoy of Serbian military forces came from the direction
of the village Lluzhan and got situated in the place "Tabet e
Llapashtic s". This convoy was consisted from 6 tanks, 4 pragas, 2 APCs,
and one bulldozer. Afterwards this bulldozer started to build military
camps for Serbian forces in the village Obranxh . Serbian forces who
went there started to shootings and shellings from artillery, other
heavy armament and from weapons with different caliber, in the direction
toward the positions of U K. This attack was firstly started in the
village Llapashtic e Ep rme and then after was spread in the villages
Peran, Buric , Lluzhan, Godishnjak , Lup , Buric , Konushefc and
Obranxh .

Today in the Operative Zone of Shala, big fighting took place between
U K units and Serb enemy forces. In this attack of occupier forces the
entire i avica region is included, which is being shelled by heavy
artillery. According to the information that we posses until now, one
Albanian civilian is wounded and from the enemy side one tank is
completely destroyed. U K units of the Operative Zone of Shala are
keeping strongly and defending their positions with unseen heroism.

Serbian forces attack in Stude an, forced Albanian civil population to
leave the village. Now they are settled in the villages Mamush , Medvec
and Samadraxh .
Gllogoc
According to Sub-Council for the Defense of Human Rights and Freedoms in
Gllogoc, yesterday at around 12:30 PM, from the direction of Prishtina,
in this town arrived a convoy of Serbian forces, consisted from 3 tanks
and 1 military truck. They were followed from one OSCE car. They stayed
in Gllogoc for two hours and afterwards the truck, which was full of
solders, was situated in the base of Serbian military forces in
"Feronikel". Four land rovers and one truck, full of Serbian solders, at
around 11:00 AM, went in the direction of Gryka e Llapushnikut (the
Canyon of Llapushnik).
Llap
Today, at 1:00 PM, the Serbian positions at Tabet e Llapashtic s started
shelling against villages Llapashtic , Godishnjak and Majac. Heavy
artillery, canons, tanks and "pragas" were used. U K units successfully
responded to this attack and they achieved to force the withdrawal of
Serbian infantry in the village Godishnjak. The fighting is still
continuing.
