Sk nderaj

In Sk nderaj yesterday have met the Directories for Public Relations and

Civil Administration of U K of these three municipalities: Gllogoc,

Sk nderaj and Klina. In this meeting the representatives reported for

their work, exchanged their experiences and talked for the future plans

in order to increase the effectiveness of the local self-governing in

these municipalities and especially in the fields like: education,

social position, health care etc.

Gllogoc

Yesterday, at around 1 PM from Prishtina toward Gllogoc was moving a

convoy of Serbian forces which was consisted from 5 buses, 7 pitzgauers,

two transporter trucks, several jeeps and cars of "Niva" type. One from

the transporter trucks was pulling a canon of a large caliber.

Afterwards we learned that these forces went in the military base in the

premises of the factory complex "Feronikli". After their stay there for

three hours these forces went back in Prishtina but the canon was left

behind within the premises. Today is the third day that the women,

children and elderly people have fled from their homes from the village

Korrotica e Poshtme, due to the concentration of large Serbian forces in

this region and the possibility of new offensives of Serbian forces. The

population of this village is situated now in some other villages which

are being considered as safer ones.
