Today in the villages Bajr , Vaganic and Shipol of the municipality of

Mitrovica, there is a large concentration of Serbian military and

paramilitary forces. They are situated there together with artillery and

heavy armament, tanks and APCs. Reinforcements from Vushtrri joined the

Serbian forces in the places where yesterday battles were going on. From

Serbia in Kosova have entered many paramilitary forces. They got

situated in the bus station in Mitrovica.

- Serbian police forces today intensified their movements along the main

road between Gjilan and Presheva. In large number, Serbian forces are

situated in the place called "Livadhi i Shehut" in Karadak and in the

villages Rainc e Miratoc near the border with Macedonia.

- Sadik (Ramadan) Leskoci (25) from Ferizaj, who was considered as a

missing person since the day before yesterday, was found dead yesterday

at around 10 AM, near the highway Ferizaj - Prishtin , near the village

Babush i Muhaxher ve. The circumstances in which he was killed are

still unknown. His dead body was send by Serbian police in the morgue of

the hospital in Prishtina. The family of Sadik Leskoci informed that his

burial is going to take place today in Ferizaj.

- Last night near his home, in the suburb of the town of Rahovec,

unknown persons, with a car of BMW type, of a black color and without

registration plates, kidnapped the Gani (Qerim) Hajden (1950). Two hours

later, in the same place, armed persons with the uniforms of Serbian

police kidnapped two young Albanians Qerim (Izet) Rexha (1980) and Ilir

(Abaz) Dina (1976) from Rahovec. According to the Sub-Council for

Defense of Human rights and Freedoms in Rahovec, these Serbian policemen

earlier have tried to kidnap Ibrahim (Abaz) Dina (1974), Ilir's

brother,but at that time he succeeded to escape from them.

- The education process in Albanian will not continue in the

municipality of Ka anik until March, 1. Such decision was taken due to

extremely dangerous situation in this municipality, as a result of which

several Albanians were kidnapped and executed afterwards from persons

with unknown identity.

- The education process in Albanian language is not going on also in the

primary and secondary schools in the municipality of Ferizaj due to very

dangerous and tensed situation.

- The fighting which took place around the town of Vushtrri, 25 km north

from Prishtina, on Monday forced 4.000 Albanian civilians to flee from

their homes. Due to the fightings in last weekend were displaced 4.000

to 5.000 other Albanian civilians.
