After the decision for confiscation of real estate and movable property

estimated at 1.6 million dinars or (266.000 DM), which has been issued

by the District Prosecution Court in Prishtina, today at the morning

hours, Serbian financial police begin the confiscation of the daily

independent newspaper "Kosova Sot" at every selling point in Kosova.

The confiscation has been done in all selling points, either in

Prishtina, or in other Kosova's cities. During the confiscation,

financial police have left the decision to the sellers, and at the same

time they said to the sellers that tomorrow (Thursday), they do not dare

receive and sell the newspaper "Kosova Sot", because according to them

this is a forbidden newspaper.

This is a warning that newspaper "Kosova Sot" is seriously in jeopardy.

Tomorrow and afterwards within a determined time the newspaper "Kosova

Sot" would not be in hands of readers. We will do everything what we can

that the publishing of "Kosova Sot" starts as soon as it is possible.
