KOSOVO: IF THE INFORMATION ON MILOSEVIC DECISION TO TRANSFER, DURING THE "TRUCE", 700.000 SERBS TO KOSOVO IS COFIRMED, THERE WILL NOT BE A SIGLE REASON TO DELAY, NOT ONLY FOR A SINGLE SECOND, THE EMPLOYMENT OF GROUND TROOPS IN KOSOVO AND SERBIA.

Statement by Olivier Dupuis, Secretary of the Radical Party and Member of the European Parliament.

Brussels, 8 April 1999. "After Bosnia and Croatia, after sealed trains of these days, the hundreds of thousands deported Albanians, massacres, tortures, and the thousands of Kosovars who, like in Sebrenica, are missing, in these hours we are receiving from different sources information, which, if confirmed, will expand, if possible, the horrors with which the Nazi-Communist dictator Milosevic has filled his policies.

If, in effect, these news given by the German Defense Minister, Rudolph Scharping and several journalists should be confirmed (news on the planned transfer of some 700.000 Serbs to Kosovo during the "truce") there is no reason to postpone, not even for a second, the employment of all the military resources at NATO disposal, both air-naval and terrestrial, to finally stop, once for all, the crazy folly of the Criminal from Belgrade."
