Professor Ukshin Hoti`s sentence, set by a Serb court in 1994, has expired. Professor Hoti should have been released from jail on May 17th but neither his family nor other Kosovars have been informed about his release. It is feared that Professor Hoti has met the fate of many other political prisoners who have been killed while serving sentences in Serb jails.

Prof. Ukshin Hoti was one of the manynce, should have been released May 10 but has not been seen. He was imprisoned in Lipjan.
