Rugove, May 20 (Kosovapress)

Scouts of the 136th Brigade from the Operational Zone of Dukagjin report that on May 14 at the crossroad which leads to Rozhaja above Radafc, Serb forces murdered 27 Kosovar men. Among the victims was Adem Rexha from the village Bob in Rugova. The other victims have not yet been identified. The 27 men were brought by a truck from Montenegro along the Rozhaj-Zhleb road up to the ward of Berdynaj in Radafc. The truck returned accompanied by a bulldozer and two "Niva" automobiles filled with Serb police. The screams and calls for help from the men locked inside the truck`s carriage could be heard at a distance.

Serb forces, after leading their captives to the crossroad of the Radafc-Rozhaje road, had them descend from the truck and jump into a large, prepared hole in the ground. The sounds of gunshots were then heard by witnesses, after which Serb troops proceeded to bury the bodies using the bulldozer. It was clear many of the victims were not yet dead for witnesses could hear their screams as they were covered by earth.
