In a battle that began yesterday along the Albanian border and has continued today, KLA forces have killed at least 14 Serb soldiers and one Russian Army Captain, identified as Pulah Vitalin Gregov born January 2, 1965. From documents taken from his body it is suggested he served in the war in Chechneya and fought for the Russian Army in other areas of Central Asia. Other items found on his person were 3500 Russian Rubles and a military document which suggested he was a Captain.
In course of the battle last night, two soldiers of the KLA died, Afrim Gashi from the Hajvalia area in Prishtina and Xhafer Liboveci from Gjakova. They were buried today with high military honors by their comrades from the 138th brigade "Agim Ramadani", of the operational zone of Dukagjin. In a collective declaration to end the ceremony, members of the "Agim Ramadani" brigade swore that Serb soldiers will never be allowed to tread on their graves.
