Gllogoc, May 29, (Kosovapress)
Yesterday, the village of ikatov e Re and Shtrubullov of the Gllogoc region was occupied by Serb forces who are undertaking an offensive against civilians of the area.
Beginning at 5:30 in the morning, Serb troops surrounded these villages which are swollen with Kosovar civilians displaced from other areas of Kosova. Serb military forces have entered the area from bases in Krivov , Domanek, Baic , Gllabar, Poklek i Ri and Korratic of Posht me, completely surrounding the region, not permitting these displaced people, who lack food, medicine and shelter, to find a safe-haven elsewhere.
Serb police units, wearing black and camiflogued uniforms were led by one Colonel. In the beginning, they beat anyone they could get their hands on with wooden clubs and steel poles. These forces robbed and kidnapped between 350 and 400 people in two villages. Only ten have been released.
All those kidnapped were taken to a concentration camp set up at a dairy farm in Kroikov . Witnesses say Serb forces killed a young woman, the daughter-in-law of Met Currit, while they gravely injured father Nazmi Dush Demaku (b. 1945) and his son Sk nderi (aged 20). The wounds that they received came from flame-throwers aimed at them, Nazmi died from his burns while trying to walk to a hospital. KLA doctors who found Skender are doing everything they can to save his life.
Witnesses also said Serb police threatened everyone else that they would get the same treatment of Skender and his father if they help KLA forces with food or shelter.

Gjilan, May 29, (Kosovapress)
The town of Gjilani is under siege by Serb military and police forces. Each person wishing to leave must pay 100 to 150 German Marks for the privilege of abandoning their homes to be pillaged and burned down and flee to Macedonia.
The area of Novob rda is also under siege, especially the villages of Llabjani, Koznica and the village close to Novob rda, Vllasalica. As elsewhere, not only do these people have to leave with little more than the clothes on their back, they are forced to pay a ransom for the lives of their children.
