Moscow, July 15. - On July 13-14 Nikolai Khramov, Secretary of the Antimilitarist Radical Association (ARA) and Russian co-ordinator of the Transnational Radical Party visited Vladimir.
On July 13 Nikolai Khramov took part in a 40-minutes TV evening programme of the cable channel "Dobroe". The main subject of the programme - besides presentation of the Radical Party, its history and its campaigns (first of all, the campaign for the International Criminal Court) - was the campaign "The third millennium without conscription slavery", launched recently by the Radical Party and the ARA.
On the 14-th of July the Secretary of the ARA met Sergei Kazakov, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Vladimir Region, editor of the popular city newspaper "Tomiks" and leader of Vladimir branch of the Democratic Forces Coalition "Pravoe delo" ("The Right Case"). Khramov and Kazakov also agreed to carry out in Vladimir the campaign "The third millennium without conscription slavery" together with the regional branch of the "Pravoe delo" and set the object of this campaign: collect 10.000 signatures among the inhabitants of the city Vladimir and of Vladimir region under the petition to the Russian Parliament for the abolition of conscription and an entirely professional Army, remanned on a voluntary basis.
The same evening there was a meeting-presentation of the campaign "The third millennium without conscription slavery" in the Palace of Culture "Molodezhnyj" with participation of Nikolai Khramov, vice-Secretaries of the ARA Alena Asaeva and Sergei Vorontsov who came from Moscow to join him, the President of the Committee of the Mothers of Soldiers of Vladimir Region Lyudmila Yarilina, other militants of the Committee and several deputies of the Regional Legislative Assembly. Journalist of the "Dobroe" TV channel and correspondents of the main city newspapers were also present at the meeting in "Molodezhnyj".
