"THE THIRD MILLENNIUM WITHOUT CONSCRIPTION SLAVERY"

Moscow (Radical Party). On May 21, Secretary of the Antimilitarist Radical Association (ARA) and Russian co-ordinator of the Transnational Radical Party (TRP) Nikolai Khramov, President of the Economic Freedom Party MP Konstantin Borovoi and President of the Democratic Russia party MP Julii Rybakov announced the launch of the campaign of the TRP and the ARA "The third millennium without conscription slavery".

The main object of this campaign is the abolition of the compulsory conscription and the transition to a voluntary (professional) principle of remanning the Russian Armed Forces. The next goal is to launch an all-Russian campaign of collecting signatures under the petition to the future Russian Parliament. Several days ago 5.500 copies of the special issue of the ARA bulletin Antimilitarist including the text of the petition were sent to all members and adherents of the TRP and of the ARA in all Russian regions. In the near future this campaign will be presented in St. Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Kaluga, Tula, Ryazan, Tver and other cities.
