On November 18, at the first day of the OSCE Istanbul Summit, Transnational Radical Party and Antimilitarist Radical Association (ARA) will hold a nonviolent action against the Second Chechen War on Red Square in Moscow.
The demonstration will not be sanctioned, since every unofficial manifestation on Red Square is banned.
The aim of Radical manifestation is to appeal to the Kremlin demanding to stop immediately warfare escalation in Chechnya, to stop violance against civilians which caused already a real humanitarian catastrophe in the region, to get in touch with legitimely elected authorities in Chechnya (in particular, with President of the Republic Mr. Aslan Maskhadov). With their demonstration Radicals also intend to draw attention of Europrean heads of states gathered in Instanbul to the urgent necessity to render all possible international pressure on Russia in order to make Kremlin stop the Second Chechen War, which has already nothing common with previously declared aim to provide security for neighboring regions of Russian Federation.
The demonstration will start at 14.00.
In the demonstration on Red Square will participate Nikolaj Khramov, coordinator of Radical Party for Russia and secretary of ARA, as well as Anna Zaytseva, treasurer of ARA.
