Continuing the same political refrain of dictatorial triumphant, coming of communist regime in Albania, based on the revolutionary principle "history starts with our coming in power", has set the name of the Communist Russian dictator "Joseph Stalin" to the only boulevard of Tirana, the then called boulevard "Victor Emanuel", which before coming of Italian fascism in Albania has had the name of "King Zog I"!

Recently Ekrem Spahia president of the monarchic Party of Legality introducing an other political challenge for the typical diversity within the political spectrum of Albania, significantly between respective conservatives, proposed to give back the name of King Zog I to one part of the same capital's boulevard to Tirana's Municipality pluralist Council!

Taulant Dedja the Tirana's young prefect, member of the socialist moderators headed by the young prime minister Ilir Meta and former prime minister Pandeli Majko, followed the socialist lost voting to the pluralist municipal council composed predominantly of right wing members, with positive signature giving so juridical mean by this last political step to the royal proposal Municipal council decision,!

According to different analyzers the rightist Democratic Party, DP headed by former communist & charismatic populist leader Sali Berisha, before and after leaving the political power has got to follow authoritarist leftist rules and operating also by the most low class of society leads too much to left alternatives! Whilst, the leftist Socialist Party, SP headed by adaptive leader comrade Fatos Nano, when coming in power forced by international institution's programs following right and rightist policies leads too much to center-right!

After falling down of Enver Hoxha regime, which has been the first prohibiting Monarchic Family to come in Albania, the Albanian new right eccentric political wing, headed significantly by former communist & the then Republic President Sali Berisha, during its political power till 1997 has expelled King family's son Leka Zogu again from Albania!

Sali Berisha President, later on, after the bankruptcy of financial Pyramidal schemes and when the fallen from power of his Democratic Party was up and before the very significant election of 1997, enacting parallel formal referendum for the monarchy to the King's son, allied with Leka Zogu and his Party of Legality using without scruples for his political aims of gaining power the King' son!

The former communist and present Socialist Party structures dominated by conservatives of the Party headed by Fatos Nano still holding emotional and historical biases with King Zog I family have translated that into a political agenda against the return of Leka Zogu!

The hard-line leftists have vehemently opposed to the royalist proposal and, concerned about the possible influence of Leka Zogu's political party in the upcoming municipal elections, immediately launched a negative media campaign against the royal family.

"We will obtain the Tirana's Municipality for taking off all the "garbage" which the Democratic Party have installed for eight years of power in squares, streets, buildings of Tirana" has declared to media Luan Rama, Socialist Party Secretariat Public Relation Chief.

Democratic Party of the former communist Sali Berisha looked unexpectedly uncertain because of that its Tirana's elected mayor Albert Brojka who is fallen into the unaccepted Democratic Party's faction of "Reforms Group" was leading such effective initiative!

According to newspaper Shekulli, Tirana Mayor Albert Brojka has not participated to the festive ceremony organized for the official enacting of Municipal council decision, in relation with the new name of the boulevard, because the DP leader Sali Berisha has not like his presence there!

"If Albert Brojka participates to the ceremony I, my self will not participate to that" has declared Berisha, according to Shekulli!

"It is difficult to find other country in Europe where the relations between ruling and opposition Parties are such strange, severe and grieved as in Albania" has stated the well-known Albanian writer Ismail Kadare to an interview made by the Albania newspaper reporter.

All the leftist authorities also missed to the ceremony organized for this significant date! Rexhep Mejdani, President of the Republic participating at the same day to the anniversary of the Republic's Guard, which has been founded 72 years ago by King Zog I, refused nervously to comment such municipal acting to reporters!

In difference with conservative respective parts the moderators of both left and right wings especially SP & DP leaded respectively by the former 1990 December Movement students, former socialist Prime Minister Pandeli Majko, present socialist Prime Minister Ilir Meta and the leader of the yet unacceptable Democratic Party Reforms Group, DPRG, Genc Pollo, have seen the royal name case in different way and without emotional biases.

"King's son Leka Zogu as political figure there is not any more a political serious alternative for obtaining the right of monarchy in Albania! It should be considered by historical and moral contribute of His father" have answered most of people to the reporting surveys developed by media!

A parliamentary group composed predominantly of right wing members has once more argued for "historical justice", " and demanded parliamentary action to abolish laws that prevent the return of the family of King Zog I in Albania.

"I think that the Albanian policy should see its own history without ideological distinctions and all the Albanian political spectrum should valuate the great contribute given by King Zog I to Albanian State!" has declared by a press conference DPRG Leader Genc Pollo, who is one of the first promoter of such political parliamentary initiative.

The conservatives of most significant Democratic and Socialist Parties headed respectively by Sali Berisha and Fatos Nano, who still maintain in pawn a better and normal compromised future of politics in Albania, have been troubled by the above parliamentary initiative!

King Zog I' son Leka Zogu has obtain 32 % of voters to the June 1997 popular referendum for monarchy enacted by the then troubled President Sali Berisha and, this percentage certainly does not represent a good result for monarchy to win, but it surely represents possible wonderful result for any political Party to get political power.

For the DP president Sali Berisha, the involving of the DPRG's leader Genc Pollo to the appealing parliamentary group, represents possibility of collecting potential anti PS voters by Reforms Group well supported internationally.

While the DPRG group as an integral part of DP is waiting by a strategy for the results of the soon local election which, this group believe, have to be negative for Berisha's leading, DPRG leaders mostly deputies of Democratic Party beyond the alternative political public meetings, which there are organizing day by day have also declared that, probably, will follow with alternative candidates the soon local election.

DPRG leader Genc Pollo has accused openly the populist Sali Berisha for following the undemocratic methods to eliminate political adversaries within Party, for wrong strategies in relation with the soon local election and for policy of isolation with the foreign political world!

Surely it is the only political alternative, which DPRG should follow for obtaining a reformed Democratic Party and returning to power of their Party, which at last it's the best way for a normal Albanian policy!

If DP headed by Sali Berisha will loss the coming important political local election there is a chance that Berisha will be forced to resign and the resignation of the stoic democratic leader will brink very probably a soon resignation of his counterpart Fatos Nano, who has shown others time he does such withdraws when needed!

Kastriot Islami, former deputy prime minister in the cabinet of Fatos Nano, accused the Nano's Socialist Party leadership of following a "strategy based on the interests of personal factions instead of that of alternatives."

Recalling the last stra-ordinary Socialist Party congress, Islami told reporters, "In the last congress, two groups were featured: that of Nano, and that of Majko - or, to be more precise, the anti-Nano faction within the party. Majko lost that battle, and Ilir Meta struck a compromise with Nano that was more personal than politically representative."

According to Islami, the compromise dealt needs to be analysed and the need for a new alternative alliance within the party should be recognised.

Recent results indicate that Musa Ulqini, a member of Majko's anti-Nano faction, has won the presidency of the party's influential Tirana branch and Gramoz Ruci, a Nano loyal, has won head of general secretariat at Socialist Party's Congress. But, the socialist moderators control most of the executive body, which will make things more difficult for Nano if he seeks to maintain his role as head of the ruling party.

The soon local elections are predicted more or less within October 2000 and surely if moderators of both parts obtain what they must obtain by this political battle then penalized politics will end once for ever in Albania! Otherwise
