More parliamentaries join the international appeal to the Chairman and Members of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOS), calling not to take the decision to suspend the TRP from its consultative status with the UN. (It should be recalled that the Russian delegation insists on this decision with its complaints that alleged TRP's support to the terrorism, the existence of proceeds coming from international narcomafias and the promotion of pro-paedophilia campaigns, after Mr. Akhyad Idigov, Chairman of the Committee for External Affairs of Chechen Parliament, spoke on behalf of the TRP at the 56th session of the UN Commission on Human Rights)&

For the last two days the appeal to defend the TRP was signed by the deputies of the State Duma Sergey Kovalyov and Yuly Rybakov (both from the faction "Union of the Right Forces") and the deputy of the Moscow City Duma Irina Rukina (faction "Democratic Choice of Russia").

On Tuesday, October 17, at 2:00 p.m. in the public garden opposite the building of the Ministry for Foreign Affaires the manifestation "For your and our right to freedom of speech in the UN" will be held: to defend the right of the TRP and other non-governmental organizations with the UN to freedom of speech and expression of their opinion in the process of the defence of the human rights; against absurd, unfounded and insulting allegations made by the Russian Ministry for Foreign Affairs against the TRP, allegations in the stalinist and KGB style.

The same subject will be in the focus of the Assembly of the Radicals. It will begin tomorrow, October 13, at 7:00 p.m. in the A.D.Sakharov Museum and Public Center "Peace, Progress, Human Rights" (Zemlyanoy val 57, building 6).
