"I won't speak again of the well-known names of the victims of the reborn, cultivated spy-hunt mania of the new-old KGB: Alexandr Nikitin, Grigory Pasko, Igor Sutyagin, Edmund Poup. However, I'd like to draw attention to dozens and thousands of young Russian citizens, victims of the criminal persecution for their convictions - it's the question of Dmitry Neverovsky, Andrey Zudov, Gennady Vorotnikov and other young Russian citizens who conscientiously object on the grounds of their constitutional right and who - in violation of the laws, in violation of the Constitution - undergo the criminal persecution or run the danger of such persecution. Helas, under the new regime of KGB-Putin, the Soviet Political Prisoner's Day is again a topical "feast" for these people and for us, radicals who fight against the militarism and authoritarianism, for the abolition of the conscription slavery and for the State of Rule of Law".

This declaration has been made by Nikolay Khramov, Russian coordinator of the Radical Party, today in the evening, during the manifestation of the Democratic Union near the Solovetsky stone at the Lubyanskaya square.
