Dear Yuly Andreyevich,

We apologize for sending you this letter - the letter of thankfulness and gratitude - only now, more than two weeks after the day when the UN Economic and Social Council at the meeting of October 20, by 23 votes against 20 with 9 abstentions rejected the demand of the Russian Federation to expel the Transnational Radical Party from the UN.

But to our regret, this day didn't become for us as happy as it should. The matter is that in the same days when the fate of ourpossibility to defend human rights in the UN in future was to be decided, we got news from Tbilisi about the murder of our party fellow - radical, human rights champion, journalist Antonio Russo, a special reporter of the Radio Radicale who collected materials on mass violations of the human rights in Chechnya. We are sure - the day will come when the truth is revealed about who and what is behind the murder of Antonio.

But now we can only express you our deep gratitude for your support and your efforts, in particular thanks to which Antonio Russo and his cause weren't murdered for the second time, in New-York.

We hope that we will have the possibility to work together with you in future to promote concrete initiatives and campaigns: for the ratification of the Statute of the International Criminal Court, against the death penalty, against the militarism in Russia, against senseless and destructive prohibitionist policies in respect of drugs, for the freedom of Tibet, for the human rights in Chechnya, China, Cuba - whereever the Law and the rights are subject to daily ritual sacrifices.

We wish you all the best and successes in our common work to defend the life of rights and the right to life!
