MOSCOW, FEBRUARY 5, 2001

Tomorrow, February 6, the day before the State Duma will examine at first reading the draft of the federal law "On political parties", in the editorial office of the weekly "Mir Novostey" (ul. Petrovka 26, building 1) the Radical Party will hold a press conference on its campaign against the planned introduction of the direct state financing of the parties from the federal budget.

Besides Russian coordinator of the Radical Party Nikolay KHRAMOV, a PIG (real) will take part in the press conference. It will represent the opposite standpoint concerning state financing of the parties because it hopes - not without reason - to occupy the post of state money-box for the home partocracy.

The press-conference will begin at 12:00.
