I don't want to deliver a long speech, there are people here who can do it better than me.

The sole reason why I came to the microphone is this paper I found today in my letter-box. Call-up papers from the military commissariat. Military commissariats send these nasty things to millions of young people all over the country. The military expect that we'll believe in cheap militarist propaganda or will be afraid of criminal persecution. They expect that we'll obediently like flock of sheep go to their army to construct generals' summer houses, that we'll go to Chechnya to kill and be killed.

But we don't believe them and we aren't afraid. We don't want to serve in this army, we don't want to serve this power.

I address to you, the young! Be courageous, be resolute, be conscientious citizens! Conscientiously object to serve in the army to protest against the Chechen war!
