The Macedonian Arts and Science Academy (MASA) have launched publicly a proposal about the solution of the conflict in Macedonia. According to this proposal Macedonia would agree to give western Macedonia' s cities of Big Dibra, Tetovo, and parts of Gostivar to Albania in exchange of Albania's Pogradeci city and its lake; with the other Prespa's lake. The respective borders divide through the two mentioned lakes. The project predefines also exchanging of population.

Albania's media & press surprised, by such unexpected Macedonia's Academic news, have covered with great attention the issue. Ylli Popa the rector of the Albania's Science Academy (ASA), told reporters that he was informed formally by his Macedonian colleagues about the project in having coffee in Skopje during an academic meeting last week. Popa making public his personal opposing against the project said that the division of Macedonia is unrealisable and can bring more conflict instead.

Pellumb Xhufi Foreign Vice Minister telling to reporters that we are now instead of XIX century in 21st where do dominate the projects of coexistence instead of those of divisions. Xhufi has said called the Academic project as unacceptable one.

While the opposition Parties representatives rejected the Academic project, Socialist Party by a press release declares that now is time of fusing the borders instead of changing them.
