General Francesco Delfino, during an interview for Radio Radicale, says that imprisoning drug addicts is of no use. They need assistance, and controlled distribution of heroin would break the monopoly of the drug traffickers. The CORA says that the list of public officials that are against prohibitionist policies is getting longer, but nonetheless the legislation is not changing.
