Prices are getting lower: each pill is about 25.000 lire.

The Secretary of the UN feels optimistic about the World Day Against Drug because 185 countries share means and collaborate in the war on drugs. The use of psyco pharmaceutical drugs is growing, while in Italy trafficking is always more in the hands of foreigners. Deaths for overdose are nonetheless diminishing.

The UN delegate against drugs, Mr Pino Arlacchi, is in Iran to assist the ritual bonfire on confiscated drugs. Afghan Talibans have covered their capitol city with leaflets which say: 'Give us money to reconvert our agriculture'. In China, one hundred drug pushers have been executed. These are just a few episodes that happened on the World Day Against Drugs.
