The US Department reports on the major drug confiscations that have been carried out recently: Spain beats all records with 2000 tons confiscated in 1998. Italy follows with 750 and 706 tons, Bulgaria with 681, Turkey with 602 and Spain again with 565, 498 and 419 tons.
