MOSCOW: "LONG LIVE TO FREE LITHUANIA IN UNITED EUROPE!"

MOSCOW - Yesterday the second manifestation in support of Lithuania was arranged by several democratic organizations here. It took place on the square in front of Luzhniki stadium and attracted about 2 thousand people.

The manifestation was held by a Moscow Soviet deputy from the block "Democratic Russia" Urazhcev, who had wined during recent elections. Among others Alexander Ogorodnikov, the leader of Christian-Democratic Union of Russia, who had spent almost 9 years in a camp under political accusation, and the leader of Democratic Party Lev Ubozhko, also a former political prisoner, delivered a speech.

An activist of Radical party Nikolaj Khramov in his speech stressed that RP, striving for United States of Europe, stands for an interdependence of all countries and nations. The place of free Lithuania is in united federalist Europe but its way goes through the abolition of all consequences of Hitler's - Stalin's pact of 1939 year and through restoring of Lithuanian independence. "Long live to free Lithuania in united Europe! Long live to free Russia in united Europe!" - with these words he finished his speech.
