Moscow, November 3 - Organizing Committee of Campaign for Demilitarization was established at the meeting of different peace, human rights and youth organizations. The Declaration of Intents of the Organizing Committee sais that judjing the sistem of compalsary military service as a "legalized government instrument for propagation of militarist consciousness, primarily among young people" the Campaign will point out the immediate introduction of the alternative civil service in the USSR as the task of primarily and immediate importance.

The Organizing Committee consists of 18 people, 4 of them were elected as coordinators. 11 members of the Committee are Radicals: Marino Busdachin, Vladimir Fyodorov, Yuri Jibladze,Alexander Kalinin, Nikolaj Khramov (coordinator), Sergej Krichevskij, Andrej Krymov, Natalja Mirimanova (coordinator), Kirill Popov, Alexander Pronozin (coordinator), Marina Vinogradova.
