DEVOTED TO DELIBERATION OF THE NEW UNION TREATY PROJECTMoscow, December 11. - Representatives of a number of parties
and political organizations of the USSR were invited today at
a meeting with members of the Supreme Soviet Comission for
elaborating of a new Union treaty. The meeting took place in
the building of the USSR Supreme Soviet on Kalinin prospect
and was moderated by Boris Olejnik, the chief of the
Comission.
Radicals Alexandr Kalinin (Moscow Soviet deputy), Nikolaj
Khramov and Irina Podlesova took part in the meeting. They
delivered to the moderator appeal to the USSR Suoreme Soviet
concerning the new daraft of Union treaty. The appeal was
signed by 14 members of the Radical party from Moscow,
Leningrad, Baku, Vilnius and Magadan. Alexander Kalinin who
took the floor during the discussion stressed the
unconditional priority of human rights in front of nations and
states rights and told about the strive of the Radical party
for Unated States of Europ. Kalinin critisized the draft of
Union treaty because it did not guarantee observing of human
rights. Besides it he paied attention to its doubtfulness and
contradictions what concernes Republican souvereignity.
