Prague, February 3rd 1991

It has taken place today in Prague the working seminar among radicals living in Czechoslovakia, a close meeting to analyse the present situation and to plan the initiatives for the 1991.

14 persons have been present, coming from the towns -Prague, Brno, Karlovy Vary- where active groups of members of Transnational Radical Party exist.

It was considered good to have now, among members of Radical Party, one member of Federal Government and some members of Parliament in Czechoslovakia, then the discussion went on about the improvement of the membership campaign among the members of national and federal Czechoslovak Parliaments, above all to provide the best conditions for the now starting initiative to involve dozens and dozens of thounsands of MP all over the world.

But this engagement -everybody said- must not slow down the "general" membership campaign.

It was then said positive (even if it's still a small score) the fact that the number of the fully paying members for the 1991 in Czechoslovakia is already bigger than the 1990's one (in fact, up to February 1990 the membership fee for Radical Party was volunteer).

The seminar has asked the Secretariat and the Treasurer of the Radical Association for United States of Europe to convocate the 2nd Congress of the Association on March 2nd, asking in the meanwhile to make it a bigger, open occasion of debate and political discussion.

The seminar has also decided to organize the same kind of meeting once a month; then, it was also decided to organize in Brno a Conference on antiprohibitionism, with Ivan Douda and Paolo Pietrosanti.

It will be also improved the membership campaign among prisoners living in Czechoslovakia (they are now a not-so-small share of the members).
