Moscow, February 7, 1991 - Oleg Gorshenin, a Radical member of 1990, recently released from jail for his conscientious objection, joined the Radical Party of 1991. His statement follows below.
"Joining the Radical Party of 1991 I would like to throw glance back and remember the year of 1990 which I had to spend in jail for conscientious objection. Even there I was getting information about Radical actions for alternative civilian service. It was being published in central official newspapers - the only available source of news in Soviet labour camps.
Moreover it were first of all Radicals who attracted attention of society to my case which leaded to my release.
Now I am eager to join again my friends in the Radical Party in order to advance in the problem of conscientious objection which is so familiar to me."
