Prague, May 24th 1991. A group of 10 members of Radical Party took part to a demonstration in favour of Tibet, yesterday in Prague.
The demonstration began at 5:00 pm with a speech by organizers in the so called "Stalin" area -the place where a big statue of the communist dictator has been standing up to the 60s.
The initiative was promoted by the Association "Pratele Tibetu" (Friends of Tibet), that expressely asked Radical Party to take part to it.
Some dozens of citizens started to walk towards the Chinese Embassy in Prague, where diplomats didn't allow any contact, while several Chinese security agents were illegally taking pictures of each demonstrator.
Radicals made known the big engagement of Radical Party in favour of Tibet, the recent visit to China of Italian MP Giovanni Negri -member of RP- with Italian House od Deputies' Foreign Committee.
It was also communicated by Radicals the news just coming from China, according to which Chinese Government decided to allow an official Italian delegation to enter Tibet until next summer.
