(Moscow, 1 August 1991) - Students' Strike Committee to protest against new draft of conscription low is founded in Moscow. This draft of low, prepared by Ministry of Defence, includes an article, according of which students must be drafted into the army.

The purpose of new founded committee is not only to defend the students' rights, but in generally to fight against military conscription and to assist the deep democratic reforms in the army.

Members of Students' Strike Committee are activists of Moscow youth political organizations, students. Person responsible for relations with public organizations and press is Andrej Krymov, Radical activist and student of Moscow Aviation Institute.
