(Moscow, 8 September 1991) - Today is the fifth day of the hunger strike of 13 Moscow City Council deputies. One of the strikers is Alexander Kalinin - RP Federal Council member. He reported that protesting deputies have not got any responces from neither Russian Republican nor Moscow authorities. In his point of view presently in Russia steadfastly is going a process of pushing aside representative bodies of power. It can result in establishing new totalitarism in modern Russia. "It was the Radical Party that first in the Soviet Union in the spring of this year rouse its voice in support of legitimate power of Moscow and Leningrad", said Alexander Kalinin, "and I hope that now it will continue its fair strive in this direction".
