(Alma-Ata, 5 October, 1992) - The official parliamentarian interpellation requesting the statistical data about death sentences in Kazakhstan in 1990, 1991 and 1992 was addressed to Mr Erzhanov, ministry of justice of Republic, by Aitbaj Konysbaev, deputy of parliament and member of the RP's Federal Council.

Aitbaj Konysbaev is also author of the appeal to abolish death penalty in Kazakhstan, which is signed till now by 23 members of the Supreme Council.
