(Zhitomir, Ukraine, April 11, 1993) - Public assembly of the Radical Party has taken place in the Musical High School of Zhitomir city. In this public manifestation have taken active part Petr Scerbina, deputy of Zhitomir city council, Igor Bezdetnyj, director of Vilne Slovo newspaper, Fedor Sych, director of the regional trade union's newspaper.

Nikolaj Khramov, member of the General Council of the Radical Party, informed about the results of the XXXVI Congress, in particularly - about the founding of the World Parliamentarian League for the abolishing of Death Penalty till 2000, and also about the colossal success of the membership campaign which was achieved in Italy during less than two weeks after the Congress.

Among 12 new members who have joined Radical Party during the public manifestation, was also Oksana Sohackaja, who was named recently "Miss Ukraine '93". The most beautiful woman in Ukraine has declared about the motives of her enlisting into the RP:

"Politicians who are ruling now, vent on us every day thousands of words from the screen of TV set. But nothing changes: economy is in marasm, the actual democracy is absent like before, new Chernobyls treat to repeat the tragedy of 1986. I think, it happens because we self, by our apathy and indifference, have delivered right to decide instead of us to the people who worry only about their chairs.

Radical Party - this new transnational transparty, which doesn't take part in the competition for power - is very simpatico for me. It's a first party which decided for itself and declared openly to everybody: there is nothing more important in the world, than human personality, value of human life. Also it's a first party to operate on the transnational level but not in the framework of a state. This party gives hope on right of life and life of right, as it is written in the preamble to its statute.

That's why I join Radical Party already second time and hope that other Ukrainian men and women will follow my example".
