(Kiev, May 6, 1993) - The public assembly of Radical members living in Kiev and Kiev region has taken place today in House of Cinema.
Among 50 persons who participated in the assembly were Andrea Tamburi and Nikolaj Hramov, members of General Council of the Radical Party, Vladimir Ivanov, Evgen Pascenko, president of the society Ukraine - Croatia, Sergij Grabovskyj, political columnist of the Visti z Ukrajiny, Larisa Sterikova, journalist from Visti z Ukrajiny, Aleksandr Luzan, member of presidence of the Ukrainian Civic Congress (a small pro-Russian organization), Vitalij Utvenko, vice editor of Zamkova Gora newspaper and member of Ukrainian National Assembly (an extremely right-wing nationalist group) and others.
The main subjects discussed on the assembly were results of the XXXVI Radical Congress, membership campaign for 1993, battle for reform of international law and for creation the UN tribune on war crimes, Radical struggle against death penalty, ways of European integration of Ukraine and activity of Radical Party in this context, draft of new Ukrainian constitution and possible reform of Ukrainian electoral system.
During the meeting 20 new members have joined Radical Party for 1993.
