(Moscow, July 9, 1994) - The Enlarged Meeting of the members of the General Council of the Radical Party from the CIS and Baltic States was held in the Parliamentarian Center of Russian Federation in Moscow on 8 and 9 of July.

In the Meeting have participated: Ottavio Lavaggi, Treasurer of the RP; Olivier Dupuis, President of the General Council; Antonio Stango, member of Secretariat responsible for coordinating Radical activity in CIS and Baltic states; Mamuka Tsagareli, vice president of General Council; Jokubas Minkevicius, member of Lithuanian Academy; Lev Razgon, Russian writer and former political prisoner during Stalin; Arif Ragim-zade, deputy of Azerbaijanian parliament and Radical member; Valentin Oskotskij, Russian writer and member of the Commission for amnesty of the Russian president. Among the members of the General Council:ramov (Russia), Fedor Chub (Russia), Samvel Shaginjan (Armenia), Sergej Sheboldaev (Russia). Apart of them, many Radical activists from different countries and cities were presented, among them: Olga Antonova, Julia Kalinina, Anna Morozova, Vladimir Grishkin, Vasilij Bank from Moscow; Aleksandr Kostritskij, Natalia Vasiljuk, Andrej Priscenko, Evgen Pascenko from Kiev; Elena Kosheleva and Andrej Ju

rov from Voronezh, Russia; Zejnal Ibragimov and Anar Kadyrov from Baku; Anait Allahverdian from Erevan; Oksana Kurnosenko from Kharkov, Ukraine; Sergej Starostin from Odessa, Ukraine; Petr Kotovodov from Minsk; Dmitrij Chub and Igor Evgrafov from Saint Petersburg; Vjacheslav Kovylov from Riga and others.

The Meeting was opened and chaired by Mamuka Tsagareli. Then the reports were made: by Antonio Stango (One year of Radical activity in former Soviet Union), by Olivier Dupuis (Transnational initiatives of the Party during the last year and perspectives for the nearest future), by Nikolaj Khramov (Radical initiatives undertaken by the Party in CIS countries since Sofia till now), by Ottavio Lavaggi (The financial situation of the Party). Then the general debates were opened which continued till 2 PM, July 9. After the lunch break at the second day of Meeting, the Final document was discussed and adopted.

The correspondents of Interfax News Agency, Moskovskij Komsomolets daily newspaper, Russian TV were presented in the Meeting. On Saturday, July 9, the report about the Radical manifestation was broadcasted on the Russian TV news program "Vesti".
