IZET MUHAMEDAGIC: DEMONSTRATION IN FRONT OF "YUGOSLAVIAN" EMBASSY IN MOSCOW

(Moscow, May 30, 1995) - The manifestation in remembrance of Izet Muhamedagic, Bosnian vice minister of justice and an important exponent of the Transnational Radical Party, was organized today also in Moscow - in front of the "embassy" of so called "Federal Republic of Yugoslavia", at 17.00. Simultaneously, the same actions were hold by Radical Party in other European capitols: Rome, Brussels, Zagreb, Sofia, Budapest, Madrid.

About ten participants of the action stood in silence during one hour in front of the embassy's building on Mosfiljmovskaja street holding the banner with Radical Party's symbol and slogans "Goodbye, Izet", "Enough negotiations with war criminals Milosevic, Karadzic and Co.", "Trial for Milosevic", "Bosnia: there are aggressors and victims. Still unclear?", "Bosnia: entering European Union, now!", and others.

The Serb diplomats from the embassy urged police "to remove those with slogans" and to provide "security of the embassy", but the police officer (head of guard detachment) told to the Radicals only, that he is "obliged to inform demonstrators about such a request", although he personally completely understands the aims of the actions and even shares it. No action was undertaken by police during all the time period of the manifestation (the organizers did not inform the authorities about the picketing 10 days before, as it is provided according to the law, since the decision about the action was taken only the day before).

Journalists from Reuters, ABC TV News and Express-Hronika were presented on the action.
