HUNGER KILLS IN BIHAC, IN SREBRENICA, IN THE AREAS "PROTECTED" BY THE WORLD COMMUNITY.

WHY NOT PARACHUTE THE SUPPLIES WITH RED CROSS PLANES, EVEN OT BOTH SIDES?

Bruxelles-New York, July 7 1995. The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees confirms that besides the two who died of starvation in Bihac, where over 100,000 people are suffering from hunger, in the last seven days 13 people died in Sbrenica.

While the so called diplomatic efforts of the various contact groups and the courts, people, as it was announced months ago by the Bosnian authorities, are beginning to starve in the so called "protected zones" of the UNPROFOR, which are only one hour flight from Milan or Vienna.

If the policies of the highest European Community's authorities that were reaffirmed in the final text of the European Council of Cannes, has to be that of the "Deladiers and Chamberlains", that is to say of the perfect equidistance between the attackers and the attacked, these gentlemen could, at least, show a minimum of decency trying to parachute humanitarian aid and provisions to both sides, making official in this way, also what is already happening with the "collections" of the Serb militias on all the humanitarian convoys. Or is this too much to ask of them?
