July 27, 1995 - A demonstration, which was part of the international mobilization for Bosnia, was held in Prague today, and attended by members of four organizations - the Transnational Radical Party, which was the main organizer, the Czech Assembly Friends of Indivisible Bosnia and Herzegovina, HOST (Movement for Civic Solidarity and Tolerance), and the Tolerance Foundation, plus members of the Bosnian community currently living in Prague. Representatives of the delegation - Olga Cechurova and Richard Stockar for the Radical Party, Vera Roubalova for Tolerance, Raymond Rehnicer for the Assembly, and Jan Jarab for HOST - were received by the Chargé d'affaires of the European Commission, then by the representatives of President Havel, and by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The demonstration handed to these insitutions its petition, in which it proclaimed its adherence to the International Mobilization for Bosnia, including the Appeal for the Adhesion of Bosnia to th

e European Union. This petition and the Appeal was finally handed in also in the Czech Parliament directly to Zdenek Trojan, MP and member of HOST's executive committee. The demonstration and its goals received large coverage on both national TV channels and the local Prague channel.

Given that there were more than thirty participants and numerous journalists present, we expect some reaction in tomorrow·s press.
